This book basically deals with various aspects of life and health throwing light on wide ranging subjects including how people are effected by their surroundings and how they can get rid of the negative aspects by making certain modifications in their ways of living & thinking.

This journal to which I have edited for quite some time specially contained research articles on various aspects relating to health & disease, impact of nature on health, lifestyle interventions in tune with nature, ecological problems, impact of industrialization on physical and mental health etc. aiming at conservation of natural resources, use of bio technology for positive health and caring mother and child for the health of the nation.

Prakritik Chikitsa Darshan evam Vyauhaar (Famous book of Dr. Henry Lindlahr translated from English to Hindi and published by CCRYN in 2009.)
Summary of the work reported in the above publication.
This book deals with various aspects of health, causative factors of disease; importance of keeping environment clean; impact of Earth, Air, water, Sunlight, Weather on health; Importance of living in tune with nature; Importance of Bio-farming; Health problems of man & woman of all age groups including children & pregnant mothers etc.

 

Some important contributions to the systems of Yoga & Naturopathy and to CCRYN

  1. Introduced planned research oriented protocols in the field of Nature Cure in 1981 for the first time in the country.
     
  2. Saving the closure of Gandhi Nature Cure College, Hyderabad which  was then the single  Nature Cure College affiliated to a University in the Country, serving as its Administrative Officer and Principal in 1982-85
     
  3. Standardization  of teaching  and training  in Naturopathy by being associated  with  several  universities in the country in various capacities.
     
  4. Up- gradation  of the Nature Cure courses to BNYS degree level in the capacity  of Chairman of Inspection Commission appointed by A.P. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. 

  5. Saving CCRYN from becoming defunct during three years long Yoga Employees strike in nineties.
     
  6. During 1980 assisted the former Director, CCRYN and contributed  actively in introduction of Yoga in schools of Delhi Administration and Central Schools
     
  7. Contributed in materializing CCRYN Specialized O.P.D (Yoga & Naturopathy) for Cardiac and Psychiatric Patients and Lifestyle Intervention Centre at Dr. R.M.L. Hospital, New Delhi and Yoga & Naturopathy OPD and Lifestyle Intervention Centres at Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals, New Delhi and University College of Medical Sciences and G.T.B. Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi and served as incharge of said units till retirement from CCRYN on 31st March, 2008.

Contribution to Universities:

  1. As Professor and Head, School of Oriental Medicine, The Global Open University, Nagaland- designed and introduced several new Diploma, UG and PG courses on Mental Health , Yoga and Naturopathy through distance mode of learning and guided many for their M.Phil and Ph.D.
     
  2. As Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University, Ziro, AP established an independent division of skill development and identified over 2000 skills for teaching and training. In the years to come, as the seeds sown now sprouts, this university may come up as an international destination of learners and researchers for innovative courses
